CHILD’S EXPERIENCE

Will my child sleep on a cot?

Yes, they will! You'd be surprised how quickly children settle in when they see their friends doing the same. It becomes a natural and comforting part of their day.

What will my child’s nap schedule be?

All children, ages 1-5 are required by the state to have rest time once a day. Most kids nap during this time. For some older kids who have grown out of their naps, they do quiet time with books on their cots, or other quiet activities.

Will you potty train my child?

We ask that you start the process at home and we’ll work with you to support their needs at school.

When will my child move up to the next room?

Children move to the next room based on their birthdays. They’ll transition to the next room the last week of their birthday month, by spending some of the day in the new room. They’ll make the full transition the week after.

What if I have developmental concerns?

We are proud to partner with a certified speech-language pathologist who can provide consults upon request.

Will my child go outside?

Weather permitting, the children go outside twice a day. As per required by the state, we don’t go outside if it’s below 30°F or above 90°F.
